Cookie & Storage Policy

1. Overview

This policy describes how the AI Opportunity Assessment service (“Service”) uses cookies and browser storage (including localStorage and sessionStorage) on devices you use to access the Service. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. Categories

  • Essential — Required to operate the Service, including keeping you signed in, protecting accounts, completing sign-up steps, remembering your storage consent choice, and a pseudonymous first-party visit measurement cookie (_amrvid, 30-day server retention) with first-touch UTM/referrer data stored in this browser. This first-party measurement runs on public marketing pages independent of the optional Google Analytics described below, is not shared with any third party, and is used only to count and troubleshoot inbound traffic. These cannot be turned off while using the Service.
  • Functional — Optional preferences such as theme, sidebar layout, dashboard view, workspace list filters, and your last selected opportunity in this browser tab. You can accept or reject these in the cookie banner or in Account → Settings → Privacy & Data.
  • Analytics — Optional usage measurement on public marketing pages via Google Analytics 4 when you opt in. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
  • Marketing — We do not use marketing or targeted advertising cookies in the Service.

3. Third-party services

Payment checkout (Stripe), optional Google Analytics (when you allow analytics), and bot protection on sign-up (when enabled) may set cookies or storage on their own domains under their policies. Those are not fully controlled by this banner.

4. Your choices

When you first visit the Service, you can accept all optional storage, reject non-essential storage, or customize functional preferences. You can change functional preferences later from Account → Settings. Rejecting or turning off functional storage clears saved preferences in this browser but does not sign you out.

We may ask you to confirm your choices again if this policy changes materially or after a long period (typically twelve months).
